Burney Regional Community Fund

It's your community, it's your fund, invest in it. 

The Greater Burney Region Includes:  Big Bend, Burney, Cassel, Fall River Mills, Hat Creek, McArthur, Montgomery Creek, Old Station and Round Mountain.

The Burney Regional Community Fund supports needs within the communities in the greater Burney area and seeks to build a community of philanthropists in the region now and forever.  The Burney Regional Community Fund provides financial resources to nonprofit organizations and programs based on specific criteria established by residents of the Great Burney Region.

The Burney Regional Community Fund has been established in two parts:an expendable component and a permanent endowment, to address needs within the communities in the greater Burney area, and to build a community of philanthropists in the region.

Join Us:

Become a friend:donations of all sizes are appreciated.Donations over $100 will be recognized in the Annual Report of the Shasta Regional Community Foundation.

Become a Founder:Donations of $1,000 are invited through January 31, 2012.Founders are permanently recognized.Individuals, couples, groups and businesses are welcome as Founders.

Host an informational meeting:These are for friends or associates to spread the word about the Burney Regional Community Fund.

Invite us to speak:We will visit your club, civic group or professional association.

Burney Regional Community Fund Grantmaking

The Burney Regional Community Fund will award grants to meet a broad range of community needs.  To apply for a grant from the Burney Fund please review the guidelines and call Community Foundation staff with questions at (530) 244-1219.
